The information on fires is acquired every year from the National Forest Fires Information System located at the Forest Research Institute (http://bazapozarow.ibles.pl/ibl_ppoz/faces/index.jsp).

The data on fire hazard is retrieved several times a day from a system operated by the Laboratory of Forest Fire Protection at the Forest Research Institute (http://bazapozarow.ibles.pl/zagrozenie/).
